CarBack ("the App") is developed by Digital Gemba, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
CarBack collects no data whatsoever. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no tracking. We have no way to access your information. This matches our App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.
CarBack connects to your Garmin Varia rear-view radar over Bluetooth Low Energy. When the radar detects approaching vehicles, CarBack plays voice alerts through your iPhone speaker or Bluetooth headphones. All communication is a direct Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Varia — nothing touches the internet and nothing passes through any server.

CarBack does not require any account creation, login, or registration.
The App contains zero third-party SDKs. No analytics, no advertising frameworks, no tracking pixels, no cloud services. The only communication is the Bluetooth Low Energy connection between your iPhone and your Garmin Varia radar.
CarBack requests one iOS permission:
All data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all data permanently.
The App does not collect any information from anyone, including children.
